Colorguard |
I've had several
leadership opportunities. My first major leadership opportunity occurred in high school. I was co-captain of my
color guard team for two years. As co-captain it was partially my responsibility to; teach routines, see that
the members of the team were in good academic standing, and to help monitor behavior at games and practices. I
was also the student director of my school's production of Alice in Wonderland. During this time I had to help in learning
lines, give stage direction, and help with sets.

Me and the 8-11 year old girls at Jekyll Island |
After graduation I was a Sunday school teacher for the 3 to 5 year olds at my church and activities leaders
for the 8-11 year old girls. On my mission I also had to help in training other missionaries, teach lessons, and attend
meetings. This gave me another opportunity at leadership.

Me Seminary class of Juniors and Seniors |
After my mission I returned home and was hired as a paraprofessional. During my 2 years of employment I taught
Spanish, Direct Instruction reading, and several other classes. During most of these classes I was under the observation
of certified teachers, but I was the authority over the students. I also taught an early morning Bible study group
at my church, for the juniors and seniors. Now I am once again the activities leader for the 8-11 year old
girls.
